Bobby F. Sparkman

Bobby F. Sparkman, 85, of Dora, passed away May 2, 2017 in Fort Smith. He was born September 22, 1931 in Dora, Arkansas to Will and Emma Adeline Tapp Sparkman. He was retired as Plant Manager for Ayers Furniture and proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War on the Battleship USS Higbee DDR 806.

He is survived by his wife, Linda of the home; one son, Robert Sparkman and his partner Curtis Rhodes of California; three daughters, Rhonda and husband Mike Grissom of Fort Smith, Sabrina and husband Jeff Cozzens of Mayflower, AR; and Cheryl and husband John Cushman of Dora, AR; one brother Jerry Sparkman of Dora, AR; and one sister, Dela Mae English of Dora, AR; five grandchildren, Olivia Hyatt, Joscilyn and Brayden Cushman, Michale Belknap, Kim Brashers; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Friday, May 5, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Dora Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5-7 PM.
