Bonnie Mae Morris

Bonnie Mae Morris, 88, of Wagoner, OK, formerly of Fort Smith, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 in Wagoner, OK. She was born October 28, 1923 in Rock Island, OK to James H. and Bertie Harris Cannon. She was a retired Inspector from Rheem Manufacturing Air Conditioning Division. She was a lifetime member of Temple Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School Secretary for 40 years. She was a member of Liberty Chapter 402 Order of the Eastern Star, Past Matron of Fort Smith Chapter 237 Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the White Shrine. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Leo B. Morris.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Monday, May 21, 2012, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Smith officiating. Burial will be at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith, AR.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Hartsell, Don Norton, Mike Swaim, Randy Smith, Tim Smith, and Ellie Boyston, Jr.

She is survived by one son Dale B. Morris, Sr. and wife Judy of Wagoner, OK, three grandchildren Dale B. Morris, Jr. and wife Amy of Wagoner, OK, Diedra Holmes and husband Paul of Heidelberg, Germany and Jenifer Shade and husband Bryan of Tahlequah, OK and seven great grandchildren.
