Carolyn was born to Troy Tasville Biggs and Mary Lou (Bates) Biggs and spent her life rooted in Arkansas, a place she dearly loved. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, whose family was always at the center of her world.
She is survived by her children Andy, Sherry Brown (Darrell) and Lori; her grandchildren Jason (Hannah), Olivia Garr (Josh), Ericka Beam (Travis), Kobe (Anya) and Tristan; and her two great-grandchildren, Tommy and Jayden, who brought her immense joy.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son Jay, and grandchildren Rhiannon and Jacob, whom she held forever in her heart.
Carolyn built a long and dedicated career, working as an administrative assistant at Rheem for 20 years, and later as a cashier at Choctaw Casino. She was known for her strong work ethic, kindness, and friendly spirit.
Golf was her true passion, and even recently she spoke excitedly about getting back out on the course to play again this summer. She also cherished her long daily walks with her beloved dog, a routine she faithfully maintained.
Carolyn attended St. Mary’s High School and Central High School in Little Rock and went on to study at Arkansas A&M University at Monticello.
She will be remembered for her strength, devotion to family, love of the outdoors, and the quiet determination that shaped her life. She leaves behind a family who will carry her memories with love, gratitude, and pride.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
