Charles A. "Chuck" Fowler

Charles A. “Chuck” Fowler, age 82 of Fort Smith died Monday, January 07, 2013 in Fort Smith. He was born November 3, 1930 in Ozark, AR. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, retired from the Times Record and was an Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his father, George A. “Buster” Fowler; his mother, Lois Wyars Puddy; and a sister, Mary Jones.

Rosary will be said 7:00 PM Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel. Memorial Mass will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at St. Boniface Catholic Church with a private family interment at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Gesine; a daughter, Mary Oliver and husband Nick of Fort Smith; three sons, Charles Fowler and wife Chris of Cypress, TX; Donald Fowler and wife Sarah of Barling; and David Fowler and wife Shelly of Skiatook, OK. He is also survived by one sister, Helen Sheridan of Georgetown, TX; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
