Charles “Chuck” Elden Hankins Jr, age 65, of Yukon, OK, passed away unexpectedly Friday, February 3, 2023. Chuck was born May 15, 1957, in Oklahoma City, OK, he was the son of the late Charles Elden Hankins Sr. and Martha Elvina Hankins.
Chuck graduated from Waldron High School in Waldron, AR and went on to live a full life for many years in Fort Smith, AR with a brief but full experience in Waukesha, WI and choosing to retire from his duties as a Deacon with the Catholic Church in Yukon, OK.
He is survived by Julie Hankins his spouse of 40 years, children Jennifer Elaine Jennings, Charles Patrick Hankins, David (Kelly) Michael Hankins, Grandchildren Elizabeth (Jordan) Ledbetter, Spencer Rodden, Nathaniel “Trey” Hankins, Payton Hankins, Alana Hankins, Isabella Hankins, Jocelyn Hankins, Gabriel Hankins, Brendan Hankins, Dustin Goss, Ciera (Austin) Brasuell, Triston Goss. Great-Grandchildren Adia Ledbetter, Jace Ledbetter, Aliyah Brasuell, Sophia Goss, Sisters Melissa Honel, Cindy Taylor and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Edwards Funeral home on February 17, 2023. With a visitation at 1pm followed by a service in the chapel at 2pm. He will be interred at Rose Lawn/ Holy Cross Cemetery in the Columbarium on the Rose Lawn side: 5403 North O Street in Fort Smith, AR.
