Cyril David Schneider, 79, of Hackett, AR passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022 in Fort Smith. He was born December 25, 1942 in Prairie View, AR, to John Frank Schneider and Elizabeth Marie (Kremers) Schneider.
Cyril was a 1960 graduate of St. Anne’s Academy and a U.S. Navy veteran of the Viet Nam war era. He was a member of St. Leo Church in Hartford and a retired machinist of Riverside Furniture Corporation.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Elizabeth Lynelle Schneider and brother, Clarence John Schneider.
He is survived by his wife Bettye Schneider of the home; sister, Mary Lynn (John) Pierce of Little Rock brother Donald (Gloria) Schneider of Fort Smith and 20 nieces and nephews.
Rosary service and funeral Mass will be Thursday, April 7, 2022, with rosary service at 9:30 a.m. and Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Sts. Sabina and Mary Catholic Church, Jenny Lind, AR. Burial of ashes will be at Fort Smith National Cemetery following the funeral. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
