David William Schossow Jr.

David William Schossow, Jr., 57, of Fort Smith, died August 16, 2015 in Fort Smith. He was born November 2, 1957 in Landes de Eussac, France to David William Schossow, Sr and Ann Lorraine Vincent Schossow. He was a former employee of the Whirlpool Corp and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife Leslie Lee Schossow of Fort Smith; his mother, Ann Schossow of Barling; two daughters, Amanda Jo Schossow of Denver, CO and April Dawn Schossow of Oklahoma; one son, James David Schossow of Fayetteville, AR; three sisters, Debra Ann Nislar of Lubbock, TX., Katherine Lynn Clifton of Bloomer, AR., and Susan Ramey of Fort Smith; three brothers, Robert Eugene Schossow of Rogers, AR., Richard Frank Schossow of Springdield, MO., and Johnny Lee Schossow of Mansfield, AR; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, David William Schossow, Sr.

Funeral service will be Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the U.S. National Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Schossow, Paul Decker, Shane Cooper, James Boitel, Robert Smith, and Gary McDonald.

The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5-7 PM
