Dorothy Virginia Donaldson

Dorothy Virginia Donaldson, 88, of Fort Smith, died on October 2, 2012 in Fort Smith. She was born July 6, 1924 to Ruben U. and Dorothy Maxwell Jackson in Greenwich, Connecticut. She was retired from the position of Township Tax Collector in Spring Creek, Pennsylvania and she was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Fort Smith.

She is survived by two daughters, De Stuckwisch and husband Reverend Allen Stuckwisch of Fort Smith, and Nancy Turner and husband Julian “Chip” Turner of Alma, AR; and three grandchildren, David Stuckwisch and wife Makenzi, Rachel Stuckwisch and Jessica Turner. She was preceded in death by her husband William Howard Donaldson.

Memorial service will be Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the First Lutheran Church of Fort Smith. Committal will be at a later date in Pennsylvania. Cremation and services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends following the Memorial Service in the First Lutheran Ministries Building.
