Our beloved Mom, Nanny & Grandma, Dorothy M. Mullen, 89, of Fort Smith, went to meet her Lord and Savior in the early hours of Thursday, Jan. 3rd. There to meet her at Heaven's gate was her beloved husband, Bill Mullen, step-daughter, Carolyn Jones, and grandson, Billy Stem.
Dorothy was retired from Weldon, Williams and Lick Printing Co. She was the kind of person everybody strives to be as she touched every life in which she came in contact. Nanny had a love for her family, and God, she was a lifelong member of the Armour Ave. First Freewill Baptist Church, and loved being a member of the Co-Laborers Quilting Group.
Whether at ball games, camping or fishing, she loved the great outdoors. Everyone loved our Nanny but the memories we will cherish the most are the Christmas' spent at Nanny's house.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Sandra Huff, Gayle Payte and Mayetta Pruitt and husband Rick, stepson Gary Mullen, all of Fort Smith. She is also survived by 1 sister, Betty Gentry of Fort Smith; step mother, Mary Jane Sebastian of Fort Smith; 2 half sisters, Becky Mantooth of Kibler, AR and Diana Walker of Mablevale, AR; 2 half brothers, Alan and Tim Sebastian, both of Fort Smith. 10 Grandchildren: Kenny and Leilani Snow of Muldrow; Danielle and Randy McAllister of Muldrow; Radonna and Jeff Taylor of Fort Smith; Rick and Monica Pruitt of Greenwood; Marcy and William Ohm of Greenwood; Jim and Amanda Stem of Fort Smith; Michelle Jones; Shawn Pruitt of Fort Smith; Dusty and Kim Pruitt of Garland, TX; Larry and Babes Huff of No. Hills, CA. 24 grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
