Earline L. Dodson

Earline “Penny” Dodson, 75, of Panama, OK, passed away Sunday January 2, 2011. She was born March 3, 1935 in Spiro, OK to the late Earl and Rebecca Smith Teach. She was retired from Wal-Mart in Poteau, OK and was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis E. Dodson and a son Terry Dodson.

Graveside funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Fairview Cemetery near Panama, OK with Rev. David Nolan officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith, AR.

She is survived by two daughters Janie Sturgeon and husband Robert of Lavaca, AR and Jennifer Lynn Ryan and husband Chris of Panama, OK, five grandchildren Deana, Kristal, Chris, Matt and Britney and five great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Butch Bates, Chris Gollihare, Matt Kinsey, Chris Ryan, Larry Ryan and Robert Sturgeon.

The family will visit with friends Tuesday evening, January 4, 2011, from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
