

Edgar Birkes Wiley, 91 of Fort Smith, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. He was born on February 7, 1933 in Ione, AR to the late Clyde Edgar and Willie Haddock Wiley. Ed was retired from Forsgren, Inc, where he served as executive vice-president. He was a licensed pilot and an avid boater on the Arkansas River, as well as a long-time member of the local Power Squadron. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, Ed is preceded in death by his first wife, Roseann Wiley.
He is survived by his wife Ada Webb, of the home; two daughters, Edie Wiley (Robert Lilly), of Grand Lake, OK, Laurie Harding of Fort Smith, and a brother, Clyde H. Wiley of Fort Worth, TX. Also, stepsons Todd (Lynn) Webb of Fort Smith and Scott (Tricia) Webb of Fayetteville. He is also survived by grandchildren Spencer Wiley, Trevor Jennings, and Robert Lilly, step-grandchildren Jordan Webb, Hunter Webb, and Corben Webb, along with numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
