Effie Joyce Carson, 59, of Fort Smith, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012, in Fort Smith. She was born November 1, 1952 in Odessa, TX. She was a cook. She was preceded in death by her parents Mac and Millie McDorman.
Graveside service and burial will be 10:00 AM Monday, March 19, 2012, at Buffington Cemetery in Sallisaw, OK under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith, AR.
She is survived by her husband Michael Carson, four daughters Millie Petree of Sallisaw, OK, Judy Kline of Beaver Creek, OH, Ramada Wylie of Sallisaw, OK and Vivian Gee of Sallisaw, OK, one son Larry Dale Lowe of Sallisaw, OK, one brother Danny McDorman of Moody, TX, thirteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild on the way.
