Ernest Clark Choate, 82, of Fort Smith, died November 27, 2014 in Fort Smith. He was born July 23, 1932 in Sallisaw, OK to Robert and Jane Taylor Choate. He was a retired employee of Sparks Regional Medical Center and member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Ann Choate of Fort Smith; one son, Brian Carter of Fort Smith; and two grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial of his cremains in Bunch Cemetery in Bunch, Oklahoma. Local arrangements and cremation were under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
