Gilbert Franklin “Curly” Roby, 69, of Spiro, Oklahoma, passed from this life March 26, 2016 in Fort Smith. He was born April 5, 1946, in Vinita, Oklahoma, to the late Jess and Oma Fite Roby. Curly was a self-employed maintenance worker and was of the Pentecostal faith.
He is survived by three daughters, Jessie Hendrix and Melissa Boone both of Spiro, Oklahoma and Amy Albertson of Muldrow, Oklahoma; a brother, Ray Mantooth of Cedarville, Arkansas, as well as thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Edith Dian Roby and a daughter, Lisa Lady.
A memorial service will be at 2:00pm Friday, April 1, 2016 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel.
