

Irene Tuttle, 87 of Arkoma, OK passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013 in Spiro. She was born November 2, 1925 in Cecil, AR to the late Wesley and Elsie Lasiter. She was a member of Arkoma First Baptist Church, a Worthy Matron of Chapter 11 of the Order of the Eastern Star and a Homemaker. She was a beloved mother, a great friend and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband George Tuttle who was a World War II Army Veteran and her son Larry Tuttle.
Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
She is survived by her daughter Laura Gail Tuttle of Canton, GA, her son Stan Tuttle and his wife Marilyn of Arkoma, four grandchildren: Cody Skinner and his wife Linda of Cummings, GA, Matt Skinner and his wife Laura of Atlanta, GA, Marcus Tuttle and his wife Anya of New Orleans, LA and Nicholas Tuttle of Fort Smith. She is also survived by six great grandchildren: Cody Carl Skinner, Lindy Skinner, Gabriella Skinner, Logan Skinner, Nicholas Dan Tuttle, and Marcus Emanuel Tuttle.
Pallbearers will be Cody Skinner, Matt Skinner, Marcus Tuttle, Nicholas Tuttle, and Jack Lasiter.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society 1200 W Walnut St Rogers, AR 72756.
