Jacqueline Berkley

after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 16, 1945, to the late Chuck and Ila Jones, and was raised in the Massard community near Fort Smith, AR. She was retired from Whirlpool after 32 years of service, but her favorite job was being G.G. (Grandma) to 14 grandkids and 12 great grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Paula Goulet, of Ozark, AR. Jacqueline was blessed with eight siblings but was preceded in death by brothers, Bill Jones of Alma, AR, Terry Ray Jones, of Barling, AR, Reverend Johnny Lee Jones of Warren, AR, and Don Downey of Alexandria, LA, sisters Carolyn Geheb of Barling, AR, Barbara Dyer of Roland, OK.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Ed Berkley, daughters Marsha Mason (David) of Van Buren, AR, Michelle Atkins (Mark) of Spiro, OK, stepdaughters Jennifer Black, Melissa Archer, and Angela Howard. Jacqueline is also survived by sister Charlotte Jay of Fort Smith, AR, brother Gary Don Jones of New Blaine, AR, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 29, from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Edwards Funeral Home, 201 N 12th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901. Funeral services will take place Wednesday, October 30 at 10:00am at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Jacqueline will be buried at Fort Smith National Cemetery following the service.
