Jean McCracken, 75 of Fort Smith, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018. She was born April 27, 1943 in Morristown, New Jersey to Gilbert and Ann Lepre Jones. She was retired from Beverly Enterprises. She was a Methodist, she loved gardening, fishing, camping, cooking and reading. She is preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Jones.
Family will greet friends from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Sunday at Fentress Mortuary, Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday at Fentress Mortuary Chapel with cremation to follow.
She is survived by her husband Dennis, of the home; two daughters, Lenore Hanselman of John’s Creek, Georgia and Laura Demeritt of Fort Smith; a son, Kenneth McCracken of Ocala, Florida; her mother, Ann Rose of Fort Smith; a sister, Leona Caputo of Fort Smith; two brothers, Richard Jones and his wife Dorothy of Pueblo West, Colorado and Gilbert Jones and his wife Kathy of Georgetown, South Carolina. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and many other family members.
