Jean Minton Smith, 82, of Fort Smith, died November 14, 2011 in Fort Smith. She was born August 11, 1929 in Detroit, MI to Fred and Madge Irene Marsden Minton. She was a graduate of St. Anne’s Academy and she was a Homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Kyle Tutwiler Spicer and husband Dr. Thomas O. Spicer, III of Fayetteville, AR; one son, Guy and wife Kris Tutwiler of Alma; three grandchildren, Jacob Earl White of Richmond, VA., Elizabeth A. Spicer of Fayetteville, and Gillian O’Neil of New York, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband Magnus Leo Smith; a sister Billie Doris Minton; and brother, Tommie Earl Minton.
Graveside service will be Monday, November 21, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the U.S. National Cemetery officiated by Reverend Dr. T.O. Spicer, Jr. and under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
