

Jeffrey Scott (Bud) Minton, 53, of Fort Smith passed from this life Saturday, June 28, 2014. Bud was born September 6, 1960, in Fort Smith, to Tommie Earl and Bettye Ann Minton, both of whom preceded him in passing from this world. Bud was a small business owner, who enjoyed the outdoors with his family and friends. He enjoyed trips with friends and family to Moab Utah, Sturgis South Dakota, and Gastons Resort on the White River, and many other locations. Bud loved a road trip. Bud was a believer in God and was always willing to give someone a hand up, not a hand out. Bud is survived by his wife, best friend, and partner Judi (Trudi) Minton of the home and his brothers, Tommy of Fort Smith, Michael, Grady, and his sister Cissy, all of Van Buren. Bud is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including Heather and Jason and the little ones, as well as great nieces and nephews for whom he always had a special place in his heart. Funeral services will be 9:00am Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in White Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00pm Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Edwards Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pocola Animal Rescue, P.O.
