

Jerry "Hook" Patrick Hendricks, 83 of Fort Smith, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. He was born on September 5, 1937 in Fort Smith to the late James and Thresa McClain Hendricks. Jerry was retired from Weldon, Williams and Lick, where he was Vice-President of Sales. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Jerry was active in different organizations; College Athletic Business Managers Association, International Ticketing Association, former board member for the Institutional and Municipal Parking Congress, Ouachita Wilderness Club, Ducks Unlimited, a former board member for the Fort Smith Historical Society and board member of the Girl Scout Council of Mt. Magazine area. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Wincie Hendricks; two sisters, Shirley Teague and Pam Ory; two brothers, James “Buddy” Hendricks and Andrew “Hunky” Hendricks.
Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with interment of ashes at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
He is survived by three daughters, Angie Upchurch (Greg) and Julie Stec (David), both of Fort Smith and Wincie “Liz” Esch of Fayetteville and a son, Andy Hendricks (Annie) of Fort Smith. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
