Jewell Dean "Judy" O'Neal

Jewell Dean “Judy” O’Neal, 83, of Fort Smith passed away Friday March 2, 2012. She was born December 10, 1928 In Booneville, AR to Frank and Tissie Cleveland. She retired from Southwestern Bell after 38 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Fort Smith and a member of the Telephone Pioneers where she was appointed and served on the Executive Committee. She graduated from Booneville High School in 1947. She was preceded in death by her husband Everett O’Neal, son Phil O’Neal, sister-in-law Marjorie Ritchie and brother-in-law Ronnie Ritchie.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

She is survived by her brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws W. C. “Digger” and Martha O’Neal of Huntington, AR, Pat Coleman of Fort Smith, AR, Bob and Janette O’Neal of California, Dorothy Sullivan of California and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be David McMahon, Sr., Chris Ellis, Robert Ellis, Harold L. Griffin, Sandy Sanders and Dr. Monroe Morton.
