John R. Swan, 67, of Fort Smith, passed away February 2, 2018 in Fort Smith. He was born June 24, 1950 in Fort Smith to Richard and Nona Marie Hallard Swan. John was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and an employee of the Waiver Program at Bost, Inc., and former employee of Walmart.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Janet Lynn Graham Swan; one stepson, Steven Rodgers of Augusta, GA; and one step grandson, Waylon Rodgers.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 10:00 AM in Forest Park Cemetery. Services and cremation are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 5-7 PM.
