

Joseph Louis Kaelin, 78, of Fort Smith passed away April 27, 2014. He was the youngest of 12 children born to Joseph and Anna Kaelin on March 12, 1936. Joe was a graduate of St. Anne’s Academy. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was retired from Federal Coach and former co-owner of Kaelin Body Shop along with his brother Eugene.
A rosary service will be Tuesday, April 29 at 7:00 p.m. at Fentress Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, April 30 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Helen; daughters, Tracy Vrazel and husband Jason of Fort Smith, Annette Sossamon of Alma , Kathleen Bowlin and husband Jeff of Alma; sons, Michael Kaelin and wife Isidra, Kevin and wife Celeste, Greg and wife Lindsey, Timothy and wife Alisha, Peter and wife Rebecca all of Fort Smith, Brian and wife Michelle of North Little Rock, Joseph and wife Tonya of Lavaca; two sisters, Catherine Coplin of Rogers and Mary Lane of Fairfield, California; one brother Eugene Kaelin of Fort Smith and 27 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mark Kaelin, Scott Koenig, Joe Maestri, Mike Maestri, Gary Sprick, and Louis Vrazel.
