Josie enjoyed cooking, reading, and traveling. She loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Shane Taylor.
She is survived by her daughter, Ava Taylor; sons, Billy Penn Taylor Jr., and Randy Clay Taylor; her sisters, Joyce Vandermeer, and Helen Brumley; her brother, Robert Rust; grandchildren, Justin Barnhill, Sarah Garcia, Heather Taylor, Rachel Taylor, Emma Taylor, Dartanyan Taylor, and Harmony Taylor; great-grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Kylie Sadler, Mason Sadler, Madly Buker, Remix Garcia, and Amari Garcia.
Memorial Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel.
