Joy Lavonne Davis

Joy Lavonne “Lee” Davis, 74, of Fort Smith, passed away Monday, December 2nd, 2013, in Fort Smith. She was born December 16th, 1938 in Greenwood, AR to the late Nunon and Edna Walraven. She was a retired Cafeteria Manager for the Fort Smith Public School System and a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands Hugh Lee and C. C. Davis and brothers Clifford Walraven and Olin Richard Walraven. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday, December 6th, 2013 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. She is survived by her daughter Rebecca Boren of Fort Smith, son Jerry Lee and wife Carla of Fort Smith, brothers Bob Walraven of Stover, MO and James Walraven of Fort Smith, grandchildren Brandon Boren and fiancée Lisa Watts of Fort Smith, Cody Lee of Fort Smith and Ally Lee of Fort Smith and great grandchildren Kaitlyn Boren and Langston Cross. Pallbearers will be Jerry Lee, Brandon Boren, Cody Lee, Michael Stephens, Thomas Biggs and Willard Wentz. The family will visit with friends Thursday, December 5th, 2013, from 6:00 PM-7:30 PM at the funeral home.
