AVIS DE DÉCÈS

Katherine F Gaylord

29 juillet 1936 – 22 avril 2022
Avis de décès de Katherine F Gaylord
AUX SOINS DE

Edwards Funeral Home

Katherine F. Gaylord passed away on April 22, 2022 in her home in Fort Smith. Kay, as she was known to all of her friends was born to Adolph and Lucille Etzkorn July 29, 1936. She graduated from St. Scholastica academy and met the love of her life, Roger Gaylord. He was a soldier stationed at Camp Chaffee. They were married in October of 1956 and moved to Plainfield Illinois where she raised her family.

She had three children, Linda Elsken and her husband Jeff of Fort Smith, Michael Gaylord of Plainfield Illinois and Kristine Gaylord of Chicago Illinois. Kay loved to cook, travel, and garden, she also had a good eye for decorating and loved to shop for that perfect antique or knick knack. Holiday meals at her house were the best. Kay lost a long battle with Parkinson's Disease and will be greatly missed, however we feel that heaven will be a whole lot more fun with her there. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roger and her brother Bill Etzkorn. She is survived by her sister Betty Pasola of Trenton Michigan and all three children.

A private ceremony will be held in her honor and she requested any donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
