Kathy Rogers

She was born to Lawrence and Marilyn Myers on December 9, 1949 in Charleston AR.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Marilyn Myers, and her sister Nancy Lamoreux.

Kathy was a devoted and loving wife to her husband Larry. She had a love for all animals, but her horses always held a special place in her heart. Kathy worked many years for Thrifty Nickel selling ads, and finally retired as a bookkeeper. She and Larry loved to travel the country in their Motorhome to Scooter meets. They also enjoyed showing their custom classic cars that she and Larry would work on together. Kathy and an infectious smile, fun personality, and sense of humor we all loved and will dearly miss.

Kathy leaves behind her devoted husband of 55 years, Larry Rogers, her niece, Kelly Lamoreux-Acosta (Kermit) and her nephew Thomas Lamoreux (Kristen). Kathy is also survived by her brother in law Roy Rogers (Jeanette), her sister in law Orthia Obana (Melvin), nephews Jesse and Mark, and nieces Michelle and Stephanie.

A visitation will be held Thursday, June 20, from 5:00-7:00pm at Edwards Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be Friday, June 21 at 10:00am at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at White Bluff Cemetery.
