He was a lifelong “do it all,” not afraid to attempt anything. He was a carpenter, a brick mason, a cabinet builder, a shrimp fisherman, and also worked on an oil rig in the gulf. He was an avid believer in recycling.
Even though Kenneth had no children of his own, he loved kids and would often borrow his nieces and nephews for play dates.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sherri Hines of Ozark; two step-sons, Bryan Scott of Fort Smith and Steven Scott of Garland, TX; one step-daughter, Niki Farmer of Bloomington, IN; two brothers, Carl and Tim Hines, both of Van Buren; one sister, Brenda Garrett of Alma; two half-brothers, James Wade of New Orleans and Jeffery of Pine, LA; two step-sisters, Ann Adkins and Lettie Colton both of Pine, LA; three nephews, Richard, Eric, and Cody and seven nieces, Carol, Catherine, Renda, Regina, Amanda, Shayna, and Chelsey.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
