LaRue Wald

LaRue Wald, 83, of Fort Smith, passed from this life May 25, 2014 in Fayetteville. She was born January 7, 1931 in Charleston to the late James and Sarah McDonald Ross. She was the owner of Tip Top Western Wear. LaRue is the widow of Joe Wald. LaRue is survived by her children, Sam Wald and his wife Nancy, Dan Wald and his wife Evelyn, LaBeth Riggs and her husband Steven all of Fort Smith, Janet Warren and her husband Jim of West Memphis, and Tom Wald and his wife Karen of New Blaine; two brothers, George Ross of Charleston and Benny Ross of Branch; her sister, Betty Sullivan of Fort Smith; thirteen grandchildren, Tim, Jason, and Adam Wald, Ashley Hixson, Ryan, Courtney and Stephany Wald, Shelly Wagner, Brannon and Stacey Riggs, Andrew and Matt Warren, and Sarah Warren Kennett; as well as four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother James Ross and her sister Billie Bagwell. Funeral services will be 10:00am Wednesday, May 28, 2014 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00pm Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Edwards Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
