Leonard "Bud" Turner

Leonard “Bud” Turner, 70 of Havana, AR passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010 in Fort Smith. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, a retired electronics specialist for the Arkansas Air National Guard, formerly worked at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center and was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Beatrice Turner and a brother, James Turner.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Bethel Lutheran Church with Interment at Long Cemetery in Long, OK with military honors. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral home of Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife Jean, of the home; two sons, Grady Turner of Fort Smith and Allen Turner and his wife Hope, of Blue Mountain, AR; a sister, Louise Turner of Fort Smith; two brothers, Phillip Turner and his wife Donna, of Fort Smith and Don Turner and his wife Retha, of Oceola, AR and eleven grandchildren.

Family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
