I was shocked to hear of Lewis' passing as I had just talked with him a month or so ago for a couple hrs.  We enjoyed reminiscing about our childhood and I'm so sad that he's gone but happy to know he's in heaven with his family.  His grandmother, Ludie Vernon Dunn, was my dad's sister.  My dad thought highly of Lewis Dunn Sr.  and I knew "Sonny" to be a good natured young man.  I have many pleasant memories about him and his brother. We had such good times when we were children.  I'm so sorry for his loss to his family.  I know he will be missed by everyone who knew him.

We always enjoyed visiting with Lewis and his kidding around. He had a good sense of humor. We are blessed to have known him. Rose, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Talk to you soon. Love and God's blessings on you and your family.

Dear Rose,
I have many happy memories of Lewis at Whirlpool - he was always smiling and telling a funny story.  I will always be grateful to Lewis for my job a Whirlpool - I remember my interview with him and how we hit it off immediately.  You and he were always glad to see me!  We will all miss him.

Dear Dunn family,
    The Bauer family at Scranton has many good memories of the times our families shared back in the "good, old days". Much later, it was always expected to see you back at decoration at Scranton or at the Bluff. May God bless and comfort you all at this very difficult time. Lewis,
Years ago, you took a chance on a young engineer against other's advice and I became an Engineer at Whirlpool.  I will always be thankful for the chance you gave me as a young man.  Your mentoring in the engineering world and lessons about life will always be with me and I realize how blessed I am to have known you.  Rose, a day did not pass at Whirlpool without Lewis mentioning your name with a smile on his face - there was no doubt among the Plastics crew in those days where his loyalty lied.  I will miss Lewis very much, but his memory and the times we shared as part of the Whirlpool family will always bring a smile to my face.

Dear Rose and family, we heard of Lewis' passing and was so sadden and shocked.  We are not there for the funeral, but our love and prayers are with you and your family, if you need anything that we can help out with do not hastitate to call on us.  Lewis will be sadley missed, we love you very much.

     Bill and I heard about Lewis' passing.  Although we are not in Fort Smith and will not be able to attend his service on Monday, we wanted you to know that we both enjoyed being with you and Lewis at our 1958 Class Reunions.
We will miss him and will keep him, you and your family in our prayers.

Dear Grandpa, 
I miss you so much already. Everyone is still in shock that you left us so suddenly. We all love you very much and we will take care of Grandma. Thank you so much for all you have taught me.
