Lillian Lorene Wells

Lillian Lorene Wells, 94, of Fort Smith died September 11, 2014 in Fort Smith. She was born December 28, 1919 in Rudy, Arkansas to James Robert and Rose Belle Foster Howard. She was a homemaker and former employee of the Wortz Biscuit Company and a member of East Side Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Shannon and wife Dolores Wells of Fort Smith and Dennis and wife Anne Wells of Benton, AR; five grandchildren, Julie Council and husband John, Shanna Wells-Castle, Zach Wells and wife Angela, Lindsey Wells and Krista Wells; and nine great grandchildren, Lanie, Hailey, and Hayden Wells, Jake, Avery and Addyson Castle, Olivia and Lily Council and Sadie Castle. She was preceded in death by her husband Piercy Alven “Pete” Wells. Funeral service will be Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 4:00 PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Forest Park Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jim Stoufer, Zach Wells, John Council, James Nicholson, Bruce Fletcher, and Nean Molthan. The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home Friday evening from 5:30 -7:30 PM.
