Louis Walter “Lou” Fellwock, age 96, went to meet his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, during the night of November 4, 2022, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was one of 11 children born to John and Norma Fellwock in Evansville, Indiana on January 27, 1926. He attended Rose Polytech in Terre Haute, Indiana, graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering after serving 2 years in the Army.
He was employed by Whirlpool Corporation for 40 years in various positions of Engineering Management in Evansville, Indiana, St. Paul, Minnesota, and St. Joseph, Michigan, ending his career and remaining in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was an active member of First Lutheran Church in Fort Smith. In March of 2022, he and his wife Helga moved to Carlsbad, New Mexico to be closer to family. He is predeceased by his first wife, Amolea Fellwock in December of 2008 and his second wife, Helga Fellwock, in April of 2022. He is survived by his daughter Gail Coleman (Bob) of Fairbanks, Alaska, son Peter (Cyndee) of Oklahoma City, Jackie Stevens (Tommy) of Loving, New Mexico and Teddy Lafalette (Michelle) of Brentwood, Tennessee.
Visitation will be at Edwards Funeral Home, 201 North 12th St., Fort Smith, Arkansas on Friday, November 11 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Funeral Service will be at First Lutheran Church, Fort Smith on Saturday, November 12 at 11:00 am. Entombment will be at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum in Evansville, Indiana. Memorial contributions can be made to First Lutheran Church, 1115 N. D Street, Fort Smith, AR 72901.
