Marjorie Baker Bennett

Marjorie Baker Bennett, 96, of Van Buren, AR, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020. She was born October 13, 1923 in Albany, CA to the late Herman and Hazel Baker. She loved to garden, loved country music and going to the Casinos in Reno and Lake Tahoe.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Rodney Bennett; two sisters, Peggy Voigt and Barbara Caine; a brother, James Baker; and a grandson, Rodney Bennett, Jr.

A private family service will be at a later date; she will be cremated. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.

She is survived by two daughters, Kathy DiBona and her husband Tony, of Turlock, CA and Paula Tipton and her husband Scott, of Mountainburg, AR; eight grandchildren, Carri Dunning, Jason Whitehead, Stephanie DiBona, Raymond DiBona, Marsha Bryant, Gary Hall, Stephen Hall and William Hall. Marjorie is also survived by twelve great grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
