Mary Gillenwater

Mary Betty Gillenwater, 86, of Muldrow, OK, passed away Monday, May 16, 2011, at a local hospital. She was born June 12, 1924 in Pine Bluff, AR to the late Rubin and Bennie Marie Rinehart. She was a retired Floor Inspector from Whirlpool Corporation after twenty years. She was a member of the First Church of God in Fort Smith, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Gillenwater, three sons Buddy, Benny and Tim Gillenwater and one sister Ida Sharp.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, May 19, 2011, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Glen Edmondson officiating. Burial will be at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

She is survived by four daughters Sondra Worst and husband Robert of Fort Smith, Susie Curtis of Fort Smith, Diane Johnson Payton and husband Recil of Sallisaw, OK and Frances Childers of Muldrow, OK, one son Rodney Gillenwater of Muldrow, OK, seventeen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.

Pallbearers will be Larry and Dillon Gillenwater, Johnny and Joey Worst and Kyle and Kolby Hathaway.

The family will visit with friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
