Mary graduated from St. Scholastica in Fort Smith. She met her husband William and had four children, Bill, Dana, Cindy and Cathy (the best for last).
Mary devoted her life to her children and when they had children her attention turned to them. She needed to be around her grandkids and great grandkids. She would keep them anytime, even if they were sick.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. She volunteered on many I.C. carnivals and anything going on at church. She was an active member of the ladies auxiliary and donated for years the nativity set for the raffle at the fall festival. She enjoyed bringing her craft to the quilting circle. She quilted until her fingers would no longer quilt and until her fingers would no longer hold on to the needle, then she moved on to wrapping her crafting fingers around a dauber for church bingo.
Mary is survived by her sister, Pat Christensen; her daughter Cindy and her daughter Cathy and son-in-law Ronnie, sixteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, daughter-in-laws Marsha Seaton and Carol Seaton, along with many nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Elijah and Jessie Elizabeth Hagan; husband Bill (Dubby), sons Bill and Dana, grandsons Keith Glenn and Brian Cagle, son-in-law Dan Cagle and brother-in-law, Jay Christensen.
Family will visit with friends from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM Sunday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rosary Service to follow the visitation.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Church ladies Auxiliary, 22 North 13th Street, Fort Smith, AR.
