Their family flourished with the arrival of their daughter, Bridget, and later, their son, Sean. Mike exemplified devotion as a father, wholeheartedly supporting his children in every pursuit, from Bridget's dance rehearsals to all of Sean's countless sports. Their shared moments were treasured, including an unforgettable summer in New York City where Bridget pursued her passion for modeling. Mike's joy knew no bounds as he witnessed Sean's triumphs in both sports and music, prioritizing attendance at every game, meet, and gig, a testament to his unwavering support and pride of his son's talents.
In 1992, a career opportunity for Mary Jo led the family to Fort Smith, Arkansas, where Mike seamlessly transitioned into a role at Day & Associates as their CPA. He formed deep connections with the Day family and his colleagues, considering them cherished friends.
Mike was known for his unwavering love for two things: watching reruns of M*A*S*H and cheering on his beloved Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs. His passion for sports was infectious, bringing joy to those around him.
