Mike was an amazing son to Herman and Loretta (Weisenfels) Seibold (both deceased), brother to Danny and Jerry (both deceased), as well as Tony, of Barling, Patty and Helen Seibold of Fort Smith, and Linda Starr (Marvin) of Greenland, Arkansas, and uncle to his dear nieces, Lori Barber (Brenton) of Fayetteville and Anna Starr of Greenland. He was very much a caregiver and provider to all family members. Mike is also survived by his aunt, Dorothy Weisenfels, many cousins, and wonderful friends, especially Edwina and Melody Schwarz.
Mike was a lifelong resident of Barling and member of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Barling, where he was a Sunday morning greeter and usher. He had taught parish religious education for over 20 years, loved participating in parish activities, and oversaw the Parish Cemetery for many years. He graduated from Northside High School and Westark Community College. He was retired from Rhodes Machine Shop and had previously worked at ANGE and ANCO Tool and Die Shops, where he was a tool and die maker and programmed and ran the CNC machine. He was a jack-of-all trades and could do electrical work, plumbing, housebuilding, computer programming, and auto repair. In retirement, Mike enjoyed making cutting boards, wood crafts, and furniture. He was constantly learning and studying new innovations and concepts. He enjoyed traveling and witty conversation. Mike’s memory will live in the hearts of all who knew him.
