Nancy Lynne Pierce

Nancy Lynne Pierce, age 75, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025. She was born on May 9, 1949, in Los Angeles, California, to Ralph and Elizabeth (Vest) Ptolemy. Nancy enjoyed a fulfilling career at City National Bank, where she cherished the time spent with her bank crew. Outside of work, she found joy in activities such as bowling, volleyball, and crappie fishing with her husband, Steve. Throughout her life, Nancy embraced every moment and the memories created along the way. Above all, she was a devoted mother and grandmother, always putting her family first.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Roberta Christiensen.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her husband of 56 years, Steve Pierce; son Morgan Pierce and wife Crissy; daughter Michelle Butler and husband Monte; grandchildren Austin and Adam Pierce, Abbey and Emily Butler, Lexi Keaton, Nicholas and Kylee Hancock, and Hailee Bair, along with other family and friends who will miss her dearly.

A visitation will be held Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Edwards Funeral Home, 201 N 12th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901. A graveside service to honor Nancy’s life will be Friday, March 14, 2025 at 10:00am at Oak Cemetery, 1401 S Greenwood Ave, Fort Smith, AR 72901.
