

Neil Edwin Ginther, 73, of Fort Smith, passed away October 25, 2011 at Sparks Regional Medical Center. Neil was born November 30, 1937 to Bernice and Frank Ginther in Wooster, Ohio. He graduated from the University of Wooster. He was a Geologist by trade. Neil knew no boundaries to his education. He would try to do or build anything others thought impossible. Neil’s knowledge took him around the globe. He managed Pool Americus International in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and Quito, Ecuador as well as was a business consultant. His favorite pastimes were reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with his sole mate, Jan. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Neil is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Jan; two stepsons, Rodney Ghan and his wife Sheryl of Fort Smith and Randy Ghan and his wife Debbie of Fort Smith; and one grandson, Stuart Ghan of Fort Smith. Neil was also blessed with more friend’s and business partners than we will ever know.
Funeral service will be Friday, October 28, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at U S Cemetery. All arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
