Patricia M. Wheeler, 85, of Fort Smith, died November 21, 2010 in London, Ontario, Canada. She was a homemaker, a Member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, and was a former Liaison for Sparks Regional Medical Center in recruiting English Nurses during the 70’s.
She is survived by two sons, Michael E. and wife Patty Wheeler of the Woodlands, TX., Patrick G. and wife Christine Wheeler of Fort Smith; one sister, Rosemary Davidson of Denison, TX; and four grandchildren, Angela Wheeler, Diana Pasko, Brandon Wheeler, and Craig Wheeler. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward “Ed” Wheeler; one son, Kelly O. Wheeler; and one sister Marian Cole.
Funeral service will be Monday, November 29th, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the U.S. National Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be James Butch Snow, Lawson Hembree, Sam Baker, Bert Harper, John Berry and Shawn Parks.
The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 PM.
