

Paul “P.K.” Knight, 95 of Fort Smith passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012. He was born July 27, 1916 in Cairo, IL to the late Wesley and Eva Knight. He was the last of 10 siblings. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion, and UCT. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II and a retired accountant for Willard Mirror Company. He walked everyday at Creekmore Park, and played golf at Ben Geren well up into his 90’s. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Doris Knight, his son Mark Edward Knight, six sisters and three brothers.
Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM Thursday, February 23rd at Fentress Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 9:30 AM Friday, February 24th at Christ the King Catholic Church with military honors and burial to follow at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
He is survived by two daughters: Julie Speaks of Van Buren, and Barbara Schoen of Duncan, OK; four sons Bob Knight of Mulberry, and John Knight, Roger Knight, and Tom Knight all of Fort Smith. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ben Brewer, Steve Warren, Cort Williams, Alex Sharum, Jessie Garrett, Scott Tankersley, Jeff Coward, and Bill Mosley. Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Von Hatten, Charlie Reutzel, Jack Pyle and Richard Funk
