Randy Woodard

Randy “R.D.” Woodard passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born April 21, 1954 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Elton and Loretta “Babe” Woodard. Randy graduated from Southside High School and worked for many years at Planters Peanuts and was a salesman for Arrow Bolt & Screw. A few years before his car accident he had successfully started his own business.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by one son, Cory Woodard; two brothers: Larry (June) Woodard and Phil (Anita) Woodard, all of Fort Smith, two nephews, Lance (Lisa) Woodard, Larry Woodard, Jr., and three nieces; Jennifer (Steven) Atchley, Brandy (Marc) Lindsey, and Courtney (Craig) Boerner.

Pallbearers will be Blaine Atchley, Steven Atchley, Davis Lindsey, Marc Lindsey, A.C. Woodard, and Doug Skokos.

His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 16, at 2:00 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith. There will be no visitation.
