

Raymond Scott Hembree, 55, of Rogers, formerly of Fort Smith, died Saturday, April 23, 2016, in Rogers, Arkansas. He was born on February, 18, 1961 in Fort Smith to the late H. L. and Janelle Y. Hembree.
A celebration of life will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Fort Smith. The family will greet friends in the Fellowship Hall following the service. Services and cremation are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Karen Payne Hembree; his beloved daughters, Sara Hembree Poole and husband Josh of Van Buren, and Katie Hembree Martin and husband Nick of Fayetteville; his brother H. Lawson Hembree and wife Debbie of Fort Smith.
Scott was currently CEO of Global Dental Technologies in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was a Former owner of Trans-American Tire and Trans States Lines in Fort Smith, and Sugar Hill Farm in Paris, Arkansas. Scott generously gave his time to community service through leadership on boards of Arkansas Community Foundation, Fort Smith Regional Airport Commission, Stephens College, and Westark Area Council BSA, as well others.
Growing up in Fort Smith, Scott was an Eagle Scout, played football at both Darby and Northside High School, and after attending the University of Arkansas he became an avid Razorback football fan. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially at the lake, with family and friends.
