Reba K. Irons

.Reba K. Irons, 85, of Fort Smith, passed away Monday, August 1, 2011, Fort Smith. She was retired Registered Nurse from Holt-Krock Clinic, Sparks Pediatrics and the Office of Dr. Nassari. She was a member of District 5 Nursing Association, Board Member of Make- A- Wish Foundation and Presbyterian Children’s Home in Monticello, AR, Charter Member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, member of First Christian Church, former Sunnymede Elementary PTA President and member of Northside Band Boosters. She was preceded in death by her husband David, son Kirk, parents Andrew and Myrtis King and brother A. Jack King.

Funeral service will be 6:00 PM Wednesday, August 3, 2011, Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Jay officiating. Private family burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

She is survived by her sister Lucy Sowell and husband Bill of Fort Smith, nieces Kristi Williamson and husband David of Muldrow, OK, Hillary Chapen of Westwood, MA and Haley Mefford of Searcy, AR, nephews Monty Sowell of Springdale and Scott Sowell and wife Lynn of Fort Smith and great nieces Kallie, Kourtney, Kaitlin and Blair.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Williamson, Monty Sowell, Scott Sowell, Michael Anderson and Mark Williamson.

The family will visit with friends after the service Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
