Richard Nichols, 37, of Muldrow, died May 14, 2013 in Muldrow. He was born January 9, 1976, in Fort Smith, to the late Glendle and Beverly Childres Nichols. Richard worked in construction for Stan Grey. He is survived by his companion, Misty McKinney; a son Anthony Nichols, of Muldrow; two daughters, McKinzie and Taylor Nichols, of Muldrow; his sister, Amanda Nichols Mattingly, of Mulberry; a brother, Arlie Edwards Nichols Sr, of Fort Smith; his grandmother, Sharon Major, of Muldrow and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Richard will be Tuesday, May 21 at 2:00pm in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery near Liberty, OK. Viewing will be from 10:00am to 8:00pm, Monday, May 20. Pallbearers will be Billy Odom, Steven and Arlie Nichols, Shane Wilmont, James Mattingly Jr and Jester McKinney.
