Dicky will be missed by all of his friends present and passed, he had a way of making a impression that you could never forget. I remember meeting him for the first time at the Fort Smith CC, it had been closed for awhile and I went by to see if it had reopened, as I walk up the steps I saw a guy on the 9th green in a pair of cut off shorts and no shirt working away in the sand bunker. He looked up at me and said can I help you, of course I thought he was just a worker so I ask him if the course was going to open. He said I hope so we are going to try to get it going again, I looked around and saw all the repairs that where needed and the grass looked like it needed to be baled. I thought this will never happen, but guess what that worker in the sand trap was Dicky and he made it happen that you could play golf again at the course so many of us grew up on. He never gave up and most of the time he was always trying to improve the course. I hope someday that we, his friends,fellow golfers and running buddies can carry on what he left behind a wonderful place for friends to have fun. Thanks Dicky

My husband, Kenny Roberds, thought the world of you.......he passed away in 2011........so now you two are together and can cut-up again!

Hey Batman - if you didn't want to play gin any more, you could have just said so. I am really gonna miss my gin buddy & my oldest friend of 46 yrs.

I tried to remember just how far back we went,back to the Merry Inn on Rogers maybe longer, lets say 40 yrs of watching you play pool, you were always to good for me. shuffle board well? I'd lose track of where you were at but would always run into you some where down the road. RIP my friend.
