Robert "Bob" Teeman

Robert “Bob” Teeman, 81 of Fort Smith passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2011. He was born April 11, 1930 in Harris, MN to the late Arvid Teeman and Alice Stark Teeman. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War, member of the Paralyzed Veterans of America, the Rheem Bowling Team and retired from Rheem Manufacturing. He was preceded in death by his sister Dorthy Lindberg of Lindstrom, MN.

Graveside services with military honors will be 10:00 AM Thursday, August 25th at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years Dortha of the home, his daughter Pam Cheyne and her husband Ron of Edmond, OK; his son Kevin Teeman and his wife Rene of Roland, OK, two sisters Carol Amlee of Tuscon, AZ and Mary Anne Anderson of Minneapolis, MN, brother Stanley Teeman and his wife Marge of Pine City, MN. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Ashley Teeman, Cody Cheyne, Jennifer Cheyne, and Cassie Cheyne.

Pallbearers will be Ron Cheyne, Bob Lowder, Lee Lowder and Cody Cheyne.

Memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association 2408 South 51st Court Suite F Ft. Smith, AR 72903.

Visitation will be 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM Wednesday August 24th at the funeral home.
