Robert Lee Jerrell, 84, of Fort Smith, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. He was born on August 5, 1939 in Fort Smith to the late Leo and Georgia White Jerrell. Robert was a retired baker and union representative for Baker’s Local 65. He was a member of Harvest Time Church and in his spare time he loved to hunt and fish. In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by three sons; Robbie Leo Jerrell, Mike Jerrell and Bradley Jerrell, along with his brother, J.W. Jerrell.
He is survived by his wife Shirley, of the home; his daughter, Angela Dake and her husband Steve, of Hackett; a son, John R. Jerrell and his wife Carrie of Pocola, along with 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren that he loved dearly.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday at Edwards Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 3:00 pm Friday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with a private interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be his Grandsons.
