Robert “Bobby” Pottridge, Jr., 69, of Fort Smith, died September 25, 2017 in Fort Smith. He was born July 15, 1948 in Fort Smith to Robert Buell Sr. and Wanda Jean Skelton Pottridge. He was retired from the Whirlpool Corporation after 38 years and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by one daughter, Misty Robertson of Fort Smith; one son, Shane Pottridge of Barling; his father, Robert B. Pottridge, Sr. of Fort Smith; two sisters, LaJuana Graham of Fort Smith, and Donna Francis of Van Buren; one brother, Jesse and wife Patty Pottridge of Cedarville, AR; two grandchildren, Alexi Robertson and Kylie Layken Pottridge; along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Wanda Jean Pottridge.
Graveside service will be Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. Services and cremation are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
